Your Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Kigali to Musanze
I welcome you to Kigali, guiding you through the Genocide Memorial and lively markets. In the afternoon, we drive north through rolling hills and volcanic scenery to Musanze, gateway to Volcanoes National Park. Evening at leisure, preparing for tomorrow’s trek.

Approx drive time: Kigali to Musanze: 2.5–3 hours
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Visit
We rise early for a briefing at Volcanoes NP headquarters before trekking into the rainforest. Encountering a gorilla family in its natural habitat is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. After lunch, I take you to Iby’Iwacu cultural village for dance, storytelling, and crafts. Evening relaxation follows.

Day 3: Optional Trek & Departure
This morning, choose golden monkey tracking or a hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb. We enjoy final views of the Virunga volcanoes before driving back to Kigali. En route, I help you find local crafts or photo stops. Your safari concludes with departure or onward travel.
